Features of the Column Setting of the Journal of the Agricultural Association of China and Its Significance in Science and Technology Communication
The Journal of the Agricultural Association of China,which was the predecessor of today's famous agricultural journal Acta Agronomica Sinica,was an academic journal sponsored by the Agricultural Association of China,the largest agricultural aca-demic group in the Republic of China.The Journal of the Agricultural Association of China was founded in December 1918 and ceased publication in November 1948.It is an official publication of the Agricultural Association of China.According to the pur-pose of the journal,74 columns had been set up.The column setting of the journal had some characteristics,such as closely follow-ing the purpose of publishing the publication,stage,diversity,timeliness,inheritance and innovation.These columns not only built a diversified platform for the exhibition and exchange of agricultural research results in the Republic of China,but also were useful for the Journal of the Agricultural Association of China to establish authority in the field of agronomy.These columns not only played the role of attracting public attention and guiding public opinion,but also played the role of disseminating agricultural science knowledge and promoting the exchange of agricultural theory.
