Research on the Motivation of Self-Driving Off-Road Vehicle Adventure Tourism Based on"Push-Pull"Theory
In recent years, there has been a rapid increase in domestic off-road vehicle sales, giving rise to the off-road vehi-cle adventure tourism. This type of tourism involves tourists exploring remote areas, which has significant implications for promot-ing economic development and reducing regional disparities. This paper, based on the"push-pull"theory,identifies the motiva-tional factors of self-driving off-road adventure tourism and conducts quantitative measurement and analysis through questionnaire survey. At the same time, the paper investigates the basic behavioral and demographic characteristics of tourists, studies the impact of demographic characteristics on motivation, and further analyzes the correlation among various factors of push and pull motiva-tions.Finally,suggestions for the planning and management of tourism destinations are proposed. It is believed that the off-road vehicle adventure tourism market should further promote the economic development of the destination, but the natural and cultur-al resources protection should be given top priority.Additionally, the professionalism of the organization and implementation of off-road vehicle adventure tourism activities should be improved, and reasonable deployment of rescue and fuel supply stations is required. Thus,A refined management system that is graded, categorized and time-specific can be implemented with consideration of the destination realities.
