Stealing a Half-Day Leisure:A Study on the Interactive Ritual Experience of Young Women in Boiling Tea on a Stove
"Boiling Tea on a Stove"is not only a unique way of drinking tea,but also a social media.Female youth demonstrate distinctive social psychological characteristics during their leisure experiences with this activity,which is worth further exploration.Through semi-structured in-depth interview and participatory observation,the paper studies their ritual experience and the emo-tional awakening mechanism after their ritual among young women in the process of"Boiling Tea on a Stove".The results show that compared with the men,women enjoy the sense of achievement brought by work and economic in dependence,while also bearing the contradiction and conflict between social and family pressure;Modern young women pursue taste and fashion,and e-motional expression of products or services.The article insight fully reveals the real dilemmas faced by young women in their pur-suit of the"true self",put forward the concept of"post-true self",constructs a model for the interactive ritual experience of young women in"Boiling Tea on a Stove",and establishes a post-ritual emotional awakening mechanism,thereby expanding related the oretical research on young people's self-identity,enriching consumer experience research and outcomes,and providing feasible in-sights for teahouses offering"Boiling Tea on a Stove",other experiential consumption businesses,and researches on youth consump-tion.
