This paper begins with the discrepancy between Su Zhe's statement that"the auspicious site for the tomb is in the southeast,where a building for rest or worship lies"and the actual location of Guangqing Temple.Drawing upon textual historical records,this paper meticulously analyzes and deduces the historical fact that during the 80 days prior to Su Shi's burial,Li Zhi assisted the Su family in relocating the auspicious site for the tomb eastward to a scoop-shaped valley at Little Emei Mountain(a mountain in Jia County),thereby truly fulfilling the ancient legend of Su Shi's return to rest at Little Emei.This also provides a more fitting explanation for the perplexing issues left over from history.
