Review of Research on the Motivation,Satisfaction,and Behavioral Intention of Key Elements in Gastronomic Tourism
With the rapid development of industrial and social economies,as well as the arrival of the leisure era,gastronomic tourism has gradually emerged and received widespread attention from domestic and foreign scholars.In recent years,research results on gastronomic tourism have gradually increased.On the basis of reviewing relevant literature on gastronomic tourism research,this article reviews domestic and foreign literature from three aspects:motivation,satisfaction,and behavioral intention.The study finds that there is a phenomenon of concept generalization in gastronomic tourism.Currently,there is no universally applicable and mature measurement scale for gastronomic tourism motivation.There are multiple factors influencing gastronomic tourists'satisfaction,making it complex to measure and resulting in poor comparability among different research outcomes.The main factors influencing gastronomic tourists'behavioral intentions include motivation,demographic characteristics,and psychological factors.Finally,the paper emphasizes the necessity of conducting in-depth research on motivation,satisfaction,and behavioral intention from the perspective of local gastronomic tourism..
