On the Acceptance of Meng Jia in the Tang Dynasty Based on the Case of Historical Biography and Poetries
The acceptance of Meng Jia in the Tang dynasty is mainly expressed in the historical biography and poetries.The history officials in the Tang dynasty not only inherited the style of Zang Rongxu's Jin Shu,but also approved the value of Meng Jia in history and culture.The allusion"Long Shan Luo Mao"was quoted 53 times in Tang poetries,and there were two ways,namely sociability and lyricism.The sociality was often employed to cater to the festive atmosphere of the Double Ninth Festival and to regulate interpersonal relationships,which could lead to the loss of the poets'subjectivity and the vulgarization of the allusion.Creative poets,when using this allusion for lyrical purposes,would transform it,thereby enriching its connotations.This departure from readers'expectations remains attractive.
