Research on High-Quality Ideological-Political Education in the Integrated Teaching of English Reading and Writing for English Majors
Some problems are present in the integrated teaching of reading and writing for English majors.there is a lack of strong willingness among teachers to implement ideological-political education in their courses.There is an absence of effective methodological guidance,insufficient exploration of educational elements,and a lack of coherence between ideological-political education in reading and writing courses.Additionally,there is no established standard for evaluating the effectiveness of ideological-political education in these courses.These problems greatly affect the quality of ideological-political education and talent development in the integrated teaching of English reading and writing.To effectively address the aforementioned problems and implement high-quality ideological-political education,teachers of integrated English reading and writing should correctly recognize the significant value of course-based ideological and political education.They should deeply explore the educational elements contained within the curriculum and adopt implicit methods to implement such education.Additionally,they should establish sound standards for evaluating the effectiveness of ideological-political education in integrated English reading and writing instruction.
