Grain plays a crucial role in safeguarding peaceful development of the human society.Now global politics and eco-nomic order have entered a period of great turbulences and changes.On the other hand,the ever-growing world population,wa-ter resources depletion,rare growth in grain output,and frequent extreme weather events have brought unprecedent challenges to the global grain security.It's a reality faced by all the countries around the world that how to guarantee the grain security.In this paper,we aim to figure out the reasons underlying the postharvest loss from such links as food harvesting,cleaning,drying,storage,and processing and offer corresponding suggestions and solutions in the hope to shed some light on the protection of Chinese grain security.
