The status quo of rice noodles industry in Jiangxi province and some thoughts on and countermeasures for pro-moting its high-quality development
Insignificant rice noodles may constitute a significant industry.Rice noodles stay closely related to an industry-wide chain covering plantation,processing,packaging,logistics,e-commerce,and catering.Jiangxi is a province famous for both pro-duction and consumption of rice noodles.In order to further promote a standardized and branded development and future pros-perity of local rice noodles industry,Jiangxi Provincial Government's general office issued Opinions on Implementation of Fur-ther Improving Jiangxi Rice Noodles'Competitiveness and Added Value(GFTF[2021]No.45)on December 21,2021,which offered favorable policy support for the development of local rice noodles industry.Based on an analysis of the status-quo and standing problems of rice noodles industry in Jiangxi,this paper proposes some suggestions and countermeasures for guar-anteeing a high-quality development of the industry.Our study may shed some light on strengthening Jiangxi rice noodles'com-petitiveness and added value,promoting its high-quality development,and thus safeguarding the nation-wide grain security and people's consumption safety.
