Research progress on nondestructive testing methods for agricultural products
Quality detection is a critical measure in guaranteeing agricultural products'quality safety.The methods frequently used in detecting agricultural products are usually labor-and time-consuming,complicated,and destructive.Extensive study and application of nondestructive testing(NDT)methods in agricultural products detection could transcend the limitations faced by common evaluating approaches and obtain both qualitative and quantitative data without causing any damage to the samples.Such NDT methods,based on acoustical behaviors,spectroscopic features,computer vision,and biosensor,have developed by leaps and bounds in agricultural field.The present paper conducts a discussion and summarization of some typical techniques used in agricultural products'NDT,illustrates the latest progress made in such techniques,and predicts their future trends.
