Selection of Dry and Wet Type Dedusting Process of BFG in Baosteel
Dry and wet type BFG dedusting processes are analyzed and compared based on their actual operation data in Baosteel.The analysis and comparison focus on the TRT power generation capacity and efficiency related to the dry and wet process,and a new insight is emerged:the power generation efficiency of TRT working with the dry type process is lower than when working with the wet type process.It is pointed out that the conventional consideration that power generation capacity of TRT working with the dry process is 30%higher than that when working with the wet type is underpinned by the case that furnace top temperature is appropriate and the TRT power generation efficiency is the same as that when working with wet type process.The actual operation data of the Baosteel BFs proves the power conversion efficiency of TRT working with dry type process is lower than that when working with wet type process,and compared with the later case,TRT power generation capacity in the former case only increases by 15.9%under the identical conditions,but the efficiency is 9.33%lower.
