It is summarized the blow off operation of LY Steel No.6 BF for medium maintenance and re-blow on operation.The furnace blow off operation is carried out accompanied by the operation of gas recovery,water sprinkling at the top and stockline lowering to the tuyere centerline,during which,H2 and O2 content of the top gas is well controlled and no detona-tion occurred.In the process of re-blow on operation,the composition of the charges are accurately calculated,an appropri-ate coke rate is selected,the coordination of stock distribution and blasting operation are optimized,and the measures of cen-tral coke charging,pre-insertion of oxygen lance to the taphole,and gradual opening of tuyeres are taken.As result of the a-bove actions,the re-blow on operation precedes stably and smoothly.13 hours after blasting,the slag starts to separate from the hot metal,and the furnace achieves the designed output and efficiency on the fifth day,and realizes 4650m3/min blast flow rate on the 10th day with oxygen enrichment of 20000 m3/h,productivity and the daily output>3.0t/(m3·d)and>6800t/d respectively.Meanwhile,the fuel rate drops significantly,and the gas utilization rate climbs up steadily.
