High-rate Oxygen-enriched Smelting Operation of Shougang No.3 BF
The high-rate oxygen-enriched smelting experience of Shougang No.3 BF is summarized.The oxygen enrichment rate of the furnace rises gradually from 4.74%to 6.73%,which greatly influences the parameters such as theoretical com-bustion temperature,bosh gas flow rate,gas flow distribution,and gas utilization rate.Facing this situation,some actions are carried out accordingly,such as strengthening the quality control of raw material and fuel,adjusting the charging system,optimizing the blasting system,regulating the heat system,and improving the tapping operation.After the above actions,the theoretical combustion temperature keeps at 2100 ℃ app.,the bosh gas flow rate is controlled within 60.5-62.5m/min,and the gas utilization rate escalates to about 50.7%.The main techno-economic indicators of the furnace also improves steadily with the productivity hitting 2.54t/(m3·d)max.and the coke rate falling to 320kg/t.
