Study and Application of Interactive Reaction-based Optimization Technology of the Burden Mix with High Percentage of Pellets
Different kinds of charges act interactively.A study is carried out in Jingtang BF through the drip test for garnering an appropriate burden mix under the conditions of high percentage of pellets.The results reveal that softening performance and dripping performance of different burden mixes are quite different,in which the performance of burden mix composed of sinter+acid pellets+basic pellets is the best;that formed by sinter+basic pellets is medium while that consisting of sinter+acid pellets+limestone is poor.From 2019 to 2021,three Jingtang 5500m3 BFs adopt an optimized burden mix with high percentage of pellets(over 50％),in which the average monthly pellet charge of No.3 BF amounts to 65％max.The three furnaces achieve long-term stable and smooth running,and the main techno-economic indicators improve constantly.
