Study on the Matching Relationship between Ore and Coke in Thermal Reserve Zone under Hydrogen-rich Condition
The relationship between gas utilization rate and temperature is studied by building an unreacted nucleus model of FeO pellet reduced by CO and H2 mixture in the thermal reserve area so as to derive the matching relationship between the pellet reducibility and the coke reactivity under the condition of different H2 contents. The study results indicates:(1)for single type of ore pellet,if the reducing gas is CO only, the gas utilization rate increases first and then decreases as the tem-perature in the heat reserve area decreases under the combined action of kinetics and thermodynamics, and there is a highest value of gas utilization rate;(2)for the same type of pellets,if hydrogen is enriched, the overall utilization rate of gas at the temperature within 950-1000℃ increases along with the increase of H2 content, and the temperature corresponding to the highest value of the gas utilization rate also increases;(3)the higher the reducibility of the ore pellets, the higher the reac-tivity of the matched coke is,and the reactivity of coke needs to decrease by 0.42%for every 1%increase of H2 content.
