Production Changes and Handling of the Hydrogen-based Shaft Furnace of ZXHT Under the Condition of No Oxygen Injection
The oxygen system of the hydrogen-based shaft furnace of ZXHT is overhauled,and the oxygen cannot be injected to burn the process gas partially.The furnace encounters the following problems:the inlet temperature of the shaft furnace drops from 1020℃ to 933℃,the heat input of the furnace cuts,the temperature of the reduction section decreases,CH4 ref-ormationcapacity weakens,H2 content becomes less,the gas utilization rate declines,the daily output decreases,metalliza-tion rate of DRI falls,and the COG consumption and DRI carbon content rise up.By increasing the outlet temperature of the heater,the flow rate of circulating gas,and the humidity of circulating gas,positivechanges of hydrogen-based shaft fur-naceare seen and the deterioration of techno-economic indicators decelerates.The practice of shaft furnace production under the condition of no oxygen injection proves that it is not a wise way to supply the high-pressure COG to the reduction circuit because this method cannot make the H2 and CO content in the circulating gasincrease obviously,instead,the effective way falls on increasing the flowrateof bottom gas and supplying the bottom gas to the reduction circuit.
