Simulation Analysis of Uneven Wear Performance of Passenger Car Tire Considering Complex Tread Pattern
Taking 215/55R17 radial tires as the research object,a real vehicle wear test was conducted on the tire, and there was a rapid wear phenomenon in the middle groove in the initial wear test stage.Based on the theory of friction energy and combined with the actual working conditions of the tire,a numerical analysis model considering complex tread patterns was established, and the obtained distribution of friction energy on the tread was consistent with the actual wear test.At the same time,a pattern model with three kinds of crossed groove reinforcing ribs and three kinds of crossed groove depths was established to analyze the influences of different crossed groove reinforcing ribs and crossed groove depths on the distribution of tread friction energy. The results showed that a large number of crossed groove reinforcing ribs could effectively improve the wear resistance of the central pattern block of the tire crown;shallow cross grooves could effectively reduce the friction energy in the middle area of the pattern block, but the distribution of friction energy in the pattern block was poor.
