Analysis of Failure Causes and Correct Selection of Tires for Wide Body Dumping Trucks
The failure types of the tires for wide body dumping trucks were introduced,the failure causes of the tires were analyzed,and the corresponding suggestions and correct selection methods of the tires were proposed.Due to the characteristics of high load,high strength and complex usage environment,the tires for wide body dumping trucks had low utilization rates of tread patterns,making them prone to early failure and have high claims rates.The use of the tires for wide body dumping trucks was mainly influenced by factors such as mining types,vehicle types,loads,transportation distances,slopes,speeds and climates,and reasonable selections based on usage scenarios were important ways to extend tire service lives,reduce tire claim rates and improve economic benefits of mines.
