General Principles of Structure Design of Aviation Tires
In this paper,the special details and precautions that needed to be focused on during the design of aviation tire structures were interpreted.The selection of tire types and structural forms,tire specification designation,rated speeds and speed levels,load capability,general aviation tires used for helicopters,tire identification,determination of tire specification size increments,pneumatic dimensions,grown dimensions,minimum clearance allowance,diameter at rim,rim dimension,tread grooves and so on were introduced,which was beneficial for structural designers of aviation tires.
