Application of Cable Type Steel Ring in Steel-belted Passenger Car Radial Tire
Taking 245/45R18 100W tire as an example,the application of cable type steel rings instead of hexagonal steel rings in steel-belted passenger car radial tires was investigated.The results showed that using cable type steel rings had good production processability,effectively reducing tire weight,lowering rolling resistance,improving impact resistance,and significantly enhancing the risk resistance of tires during use.
