Application of Domestic SSBR in Tread Compound of Steel-belted Radial Tire
The application of domestic solution polymerized styrene butadiene rubber(SSBR)in the tread compound of steel-belted radial tires was studied.The results showed that the vulcanization characteristics,physical properties and ozone aging resistance of the domestic SSBR compound were comparable to those of imported SSBR compounds.The high-speed performance and durability of the finished tire passed the test,the rolling resistance was comparable,the dry and wet braking performance met the requirements for usage,and the material cost could also be reduced.
