Application of 0.225+18×0.205 CCST Steel Cord in Carcass of All-steel Truck and Bus Radial Tire
The application of 0.225+18×0.205CCST steel cord in the carcass of all-steel truck and bus radial tire was studied,and compared with 0.17+5×0.215+10×0.235CCST steel cord and 0.25+6+12×0.225HT steel cord.The results showed that the strength and high-speed performance of the finished tire using 0.225+18 × 0.205CCST steel cord were equivalent,the durability was improved,the rolling resistance was reduced,the single tire weight was decreased,and the overall cost was reduced.
