Application of 2+7 × 0.35UT Steel Cord in Belt Layer of All-steel Truck and Bus Radial Tire
The application of 2+7×0.35UT steel cord in the belt layer of all-steel truck and bus radial tires was studied.The results showed that compared with 3+8×0.33ST steel cord,2+7×0.35UT steel cord exhibited better compound permeability and stable processability.With 2+7×0.35UT steel cord instead of 3+8×0.33ST steel cord in the belt of 12.00R20 all-steel truck and bus radial tires,the inflated peripheral dimensions and strength performance of tires met the requirements of national standards,the durability was improved,and the rolling resistance coefficient was decreased.
