Simulation Analysis of Bead Unseating Test for Steel-belted Radial Tire
Taking the 215/50R17 steel-belted radial tire as the research object,a three-dimensional finite element model of the tire was established using Abaqus software,the effects of apex thickness,belt angle and inner circumference of the steel wire ring on the tire's bead unseating performance were studied,and a simulation evaluation method for the bead unseating performance of the tire was proposed.The results showed that the simulation results of the tire's bead unseating resistance corresponded well with the experimental results,indicating high simulation accuracy.Thickening the apex could increase the tire's bead unseating resistance,increasing the inner circumference of the steel wire ring could reduce the tire's bead unseating resistance,while changing the belt angle had little effect on the tire's bead unseating resistance.
