Finite Element Optimization Design of Belt width for 12R22.5 18PR All-steel Truck and Bus Radial Tire Based on Abaqus Software
Based on Abaqus software,a finite element analysis model of 12R22.5 all-steel truck and bus radial tire with shoulder void issues was established,the simulation comparisons were conducted for tires with different belt widths,analyzing the maximum Mises stress and maximum strain energy density gradient at the belt,contact area,maximum contact pressure,etc.The results indicated that the optimal belt layer widths were 185,205,120 and 29 mm for the 1#,2#,3#,and 0° belt layers,respectively.
