Application of SSBR 2564T in Tread Compound of Passenger Car Radial Tire
The application of solution-polymerized styrene butadiene rubber(SSBR)2564T in the tread compound of passenger car radial tires was investigated.The results showed that by using SSBR 2564S instead of SSBR 2564T with an equal amount in the tread compound,the processability and vulcanization characteristics of the compound were similar and the filler dispersion was slightly worse.The tensile property and wear resistance of the vulcanizate improved,and the dynamic property changed little.The high-speed performance and durability of the finished tires met the requirements of enterprise standards and the rolling resistance remained similar.
