On Spatial Distribution of County-level Generally Beneficial Kindergartens Based on GIS——A Case Study of Dingzhou,Hebei Province
The spatial distribution of county-level generally beneficial kindergartens is an important basis for investigating the allocation of local preschool education resources.This study employs GIS,to analyze the spatial distribution pattern,service scope,concentration degree and ownership of generally beneficial kindergartens in Dingzhou,Baoding City.The results are that the spatial distribution of generally beneficial kindergartens is significantly different between urban and rural areas,high-quality kindergartens and private kindergartens are mostly concentrated in urban areas,and service blind areas coexist with service overlap.To promote the development of county-level generally beneficial kindergartens,the relevant authorities should adjust the service radius standard according to local conditions,give full play to the demonstration function of high-quality rural generally beneficial kindergartens,and speed up the pace to make more private kindergartens as generally beneficial kindergartens.
