Women's Mobility in Celeste Ng's Little Fires Everywhere
This article interprets Little Fires Everywhere from the perspective of mobility,from the microscopic movements of the body to the writing of the mobile experiences across borders and countries,three functions of female mobility(writing)are discovered,namely,reshaping gender roles,representing the dilemma of mothers,and revealing the mobile reality of minority ethnic mothers.Little Fires Everywhere has reproduced the female mobility experience,which has already become a universal experience in the era of globalization,at multiple levels and endowed it with profound social and cultural significance.This not only subverts the traditional male-centered representation of mobility but also demonstrates the humanistic care and practical value of the work.
