On the Concept of Harmony among Hakka People from the Perspective of Dialects
Harmony is the essence of"He"(A Chinese character with rich connotations related to harmony,peace,etc.),which is the unity and opposition of various elements within things.Gathering and cooperation are the core meanings of'unity'.The concept of harmony and unity refers to the process of conflicting and integrating all things in the world to form new things.The Hakka dialect is an important component of Hakka culture,reflecting the thoughts,ideas,and actions of the Hakka people.The Hakka dialect reflects the Hakka people's survival wisdom in long-term production and daily life.The Hakka people have gradually explored and understood the laws of cognition,lived in harmony with nature,achieved harmony within themselves,maintained family harmony,got along with others peacefully,and helped build a harmonious society.The Hakka people are practitioners of the national concept of harmony and unity,and the Hakka dialect has also enriched the content of the culture of harmony and unity.
