Analysis of Wind Vibration Response to Three-dimensional Seismic Isolation Mega-Frame Structure
Taking the structural scheme of NFC office building in Japan as an example, the analysis models of the aseismic mega-frame structure and the three-dimensional(3D)seismic isolation mega-frame structure are established by SAP2000.Pulsating wind forces are imposed upon the structure to investigate the impact of sub-frame tuning ratio and isolation layer damping ratio on the vibration damping performance of the 3D seismic isolation mega-frame structure. Finally, the displacement and acceleration of the two structures are ana-lyzed for wind vibration response. The results show that the tuning ratio of the sub-frame and the equivalent damping ratio of the isola-tion layer set to 0.53 and 0.3,respectively,can optimize the vibration damping effect of the 3D seismic isolation mega-frame structure. Moreover, under pulsating wind load, the implementation of the 3D seismic isolation bearings results in a substantial reduction of wind-induced vibration response in both the.main frame and sub-frame.
