Research on social benefit evaluation of public welfare forests in Guangxi
Public welfare forests is crucial for promoting sustainable and healthy economic and social development,and have enormous social benefits that are difficult to measure.This paper provides a theoretical interpretation of the meaning and evaluation content of the social benefits of public welfare forests,with the aim of developing a more intuitive and quantifiable understanding of the social benefits of Guangxi's public welfare forests,explores and constructs the evaluation index system of social benefits of public welfare forests in Guangxi from six aspects:public health and forest recreation benefits,employment benefits,industrial structure benefits,benefits of increasing farmers'incomes,protection and management benefits(inverse indicators),and benefits of innovative work.The results show that in terms of the value form in monetary terms Guangxi's public welfare forests have created enormous social benefits,with a total value of up to 290.571 billion yuan.
