Effect of Snow Cover Thickness on Soil Temperature and Humidity
Based on the national positioning observation and research station of forest ecosystem in Mudanjiang, the relationship among snow cover thickness, soil temperature and soil water content during snow cover period(snow formation period, snow stabilization period and snow melting period)was studied. The results showed that the soil water content first decreased and then increased during the snowpack period, and there was no significant difference in the soil water content of different snow cover thickness during the same period, the snow cover thickness was positively correlated with soil temperature, and the soil temperature increased with the increase of snow cover thickness. This study is of great significance for deepening soil ecological cognition in non-growing season, explaining the laws of temperature rise and habitat change in gap or under canopy.
