Study on Selection Breeding Techniques of a new Chestnut Variety 'Zhuyu 2' in Linyi
Given the low level of high-quality cultivation,outdated cultivation techniques,extensive management,and relatively poor commodity quality in the local chestnut industry,this article elaborates on the breeding process of the new chestnut variety'Zhuyu 2'in the Linyi area.Through multiple comparisons and comparative analysis experiments,emphasis is placed on screening and evaluating genetic stability,early fruiting and high yield,fruit commodity traits,and stress resistance.The research results indicate that the newly cultivated varieties have the characteristics of early fruiting,high yield,stable yield,large,neat and full nuts,bright color,and strong stress resistance,which is in line with the specificity,consistency,and stability of new plant varieties.
