The Effect of Different Transplantation Methods on the Growth of Sapium sebiferum Full Crown Transplantation
This article conducts three comparative experiments on different root cutting methods, different substrate filling, and different fertilization methods in nurseries to study better methods for transplanting Sapium sebiferum container seedlings, providing technical support for the transplantation of large-sized full crown seedlings. The root cutting experiment compared different time and times of root cutting from before dormancy to after sprouting. The results showed that different root cutting methods had the most significant impact on growth potential, and the multiple and dormant root cutting groups were much better than the single and sprouting root cutting groups; The substrate experiment compared different ratios of garden soil, peat, medium coarse sand, and fermented wood chips. The results showed that different container substrates had a significant impact on growth potential, and the substrate that balanced nutrients and permeability performed better; The fertilization experiment compared organic fertilizer,slow-release fertilizer, and compound fertilizer with the same total nutrient content. The results showed that different fertilization methods had no significant impact on growth potential, while the group using compound fertilizer with thin and frequent application during the growth period performed slightly better.
