A Study of Restoration of Herbaceous Plant Communities in Hutuo River Wetland Based on the Concept of Community Self-sustaining
The construction method of self-sustaining herbaceous plant communities is of important significance for ecological restoration of river channels. In response to these environmental characteristics, this study adopts the concept of community sustainability and employs a self-sustaining plant community construction approach. The Floristic Quality Assessment(FQA)method is used to evaluate the matching characteristics between plants and their habitats.According to different habitat types within the waterways, target plants are organized and combined to form communities, meeting the requirements of urban development for the quality and effectiveness of plant communities over time. Finally,by considering the species diversity as a reference for mixed configuration,a comprehensive discussion on the construction scheme of herbaceous communities under the restoration goal is conducted, and this scheme is applied to the vegetation restoration project in the Hutuo River wetland.
