Spatial Distribution of Soil Organic Carbon and Its Influencing Factors in the Sediments of Liaohe Estuary Wetland in China
This study was aimed to investigate the spatial distribution soil organic carbon(SOC)and its influencing factors in Liaohe estuary wetland. The spatial distribution of soil organic carbon content was analyzed using ArcGIS,and the contribution of different factors to the organic carbon was determined using redundancy analysis. The topsoil organic carbon content was 13.3 g/kg(4.35~24.58 g/kg).The surface soil organic carbon content was spatially patchy and distributed. The spatial variation was dominated by both structural and stochastic factors, showing a spatial distribution pattern that gradually increased from coastal to inland, and from south to north. The P australis ranked first in SOC contents as a whole, followed by the O.sativa,S.salsa.The proportion of sand and pH combined to explain 34%of the variation of SOC and contribute 85.4%of SOC,respectively, which were the dominant soil physciochemical properties affecting the soil organic carbon of Liaohe estuary wetland. The soil organic carbon in Liaohe estuary wetland is higher, and the spatial distribution is concentrated.Vegetation types and pH are important factors affecting soil organic carbon.
