Phytoplankton Community Structure and Water Ecological Assessment in the Habitat of Hynobius amjiensis
To study the composition of phytoplankton community in the habitat of Hynobius amjiensis, water samples were collected and analyzed from March to December 2022.Multiple assessment methods such as density, biomass, diversity index, chla and comprehensive trophic status index were used to evaluate the water ecological health of the habitat of H.amjiensis.The results showed that a total of 116 species of phytoplankton belonging to 72 genera in 8 phyla were identified. The average annual density was 2.62× 106 cells/L,and the average annual biomass was 4.25 mg/L.The diversity indices of Shannon-weiner and Pielou were 0.09~3.63 and 0.02~0.93,respectively.The study revealed the characteristics of seasonal variation of phytoplankton diversity, dominant species, community structure and nutrient status. The water ecological environment of the habitat was generally good, however, the significant increase of the density and biomass in sites of S4 and S8 tended to become eutrophication. The nutrient status in summer was much higher than the other seasons. Therefore, more attention should be paid to the early warning of algal bloom as well as the full use of monitoring methods,to ensure the water ecological environment health of the habitat of H.amjiensis.
