Study on Bird Habitat Rehabilitation in Small and Micro Wetlands in Hongze Lake Wetland
Ecological rehabilitation of small and micro wetlands plays an important role in optimizing bird habitats.Taking the ecological restoration of the small and micro wetland in Hongze lake as an example, there are problems on site such as low habitat quality, insufficient water system connectivity, single vegetation types, inconsistency among sites, and a large number of birds in the open water area of Hongze lake, but few bird habitats in the study area.Following the principles of ecology and adapting to local conditions,we will create a bird habitat that is close to nature, close to the open water of Hongze lake, and suitable for birds such as egrets and ducks to inhabit, forage, and nest through measures such as water system connectivity, micro terrain transformation and plant management. The results of this study can be used to guide the ecological rehabilitation practice of small and micro wetlands in the same type of bird habitat.
