Ecological Resilient Restoration Design for Central Lake Wetland of Shibalianwei
Focusing on shallow lake wetland restoration project of the central-lake of Shibalianwei wetland, this study aims to explore solutions for the restoration of aquatic vegetation in shallow lake wetlands.Adopting the concept of ecological resilience design, the project incorporates internal pollution control, diverse habitat construction, rich plant community restoration, and dynamic water level management.Combined with long-term management strategies, this approach strengthens the lake ecosystem's self-regulation and recovery capabilities. The resilient wetland construction mainly involves creating habitats of various sizes and water depths to ensure that the wetland can gradually restore its aquatic vegetation from shallow to deep areas after being impacted by floods. The design concept based on ecological resilience not only improved the success rate of aquatic vegetation restoration but also demonstrated stronger ecological resilience compared to traditional methods. This model serves as a demonstration and reference for the restoration of submerged vegetation in other lakes across the country.
