Research Progress in Selection of Wetland Plants and Their Capacity of Water Purification in Constructed Wetlands
Artificial wetland treatment systems have been widely used in the field of water treatment because of their high efficiency, green and economic characteristics.Wetland plants,as an important part of the wetland ecosystem, play an important role in maintaining the stability and function of the wetland ecosystem. This paper summarizes the current status of studies of pollutant removal capacity of wetland plants in artificial wetlands, and discusses the role of wetland plants in artificial wetland systems and their influence on the pollutant removal effect. The importance and potential of wetland plants in pollutant removal in artificial wetlands are assessed through the analysis of different wetland plant species, their growth characteristics and their ability to absorb, transform and decompose pollutants, which provides a theoretical basis for the design and optimization of artificial wetlands.
