Climate warming is an important reason for the deterioration of the ecological environment.As a major carbon emitter,China has proposed to achieve the goal of"carbon peak"by 2030 and"carbon neutrality"by 2060.Ecosystem,especially forest ecosystem,is a good choice to achieve the dual carbon target.This paper aims to discuss some problems and solutions of forest ecosystem in Xinjiang,as one of the important components of ecological barrier in northwest China,to achieve carbon sequestration and sink,so as to help China successfully achieve the dual carbon goal.
