In China,Hippophae rhamnoides is rich in resources,widely distributed,and has a long cultivation history.It is an important tree species for soil and water conservation,windbreak and sand fixation,and fruit.Hippophae rhamnoides has high economic value,in addition to being used in medicine,health products and food industry,it can also be used as feed additives and industrial raw materials.Because of these characteristics,Hippophae rhamnoides has become the first choice tree for the development of planting industry in northwest China.The average annual temperature is 4.6℃,the annual precipitation is 608 mm,and the frost-free period is about 115 days.The soil is mainly gray brown soil and black lime soil,and the people in the forest area have many years of cultivation experience.This paper took the cultivation of excellent cuttings of Hippophae rhamnoides in Heichashan forest area as the entry point to explore the optimal cultivation density of Hippophae rhamnoides for high yield.
