Analysis on the Characteristics of Vascular Plants Flora in Dengkou County
[Objective]Based on field investigation,plant specimen collection and identification and previous research records,the list of vascular plants in Dengkou county was summarized and sorted out,which provided a theoretical basis for biodiversity conservation in this area.[Method]The species composition,life form,water ecological type and floristic geographical composition of vascular plants in Dengkou county were statistically analyzed.[Result]The wild vascular plants in Dengkou county belong to 54 families,164 genera and 251 species.Asteraceae,Chenopodiaceae,Fabaceae,Gramineae and Polygonaceae are the dominant families.The life forms of plants were mainly perennial herbs,accounting for 43.824%of the total species,of which arbors accounted for 2.00%,shrubs accounted for 15.94%,semi-shrubs accounted for 8.76%,annual herbs accounted for 27.89%,parasitic plants accounted for 1.20%,and vines accounted for 0.40%.The water ecological types of plants were mainly xerophytes(including super xerophytes,strong xerophytes,xerophytes and mesoxerophytes)and mesophytes(including xeromesophytes,mesophytes and hygromesophytes),accounting for 95.63%of the total species,hygrophytes accounted for 4.00%,and aquatic plants accounted for 0.40%.[Conclusion]The geographical composition of the flora in Dengkou county is rich and diverse.Under the background of the desert flora in central Asia,it is influenced by temperate elements,East Asian elements and ancient Mediterranean elements.
