Distribution of Korean Pine with Coarse Bark and Fine Bark on Different Topography
[Objective]To explore the effects of different topographic factors on the distribution of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark, and to provide theoretical basis for the management and management of the mixed broadleaved Korean pine forest.[Method]Based on the broad-leaved Korean pine forest sample plot in Fenglin National Nature Reserve of Heilongjiang Province, the number of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark in the sample plot of standard land for good stand was counted, and the topographic information was investigated and recorded.Chi-square test,t-test,one-way ANOVA and CCA were used to investigate the effects of slope, slope direction and slope position on density, basal area and distribution of Korean pine in different diameter classes.[Result](1)The diameter distribution of Korean pine with coarse bark in the plot was approximately normal distribution, mainly in large and medium diameter classes, while the diameter distribution of Korean pine with fine bark showed a decreasing trend, mainly in small and medium diameter classes, and Korean pine with fine bark accounted for the majority in the plot.(2)Slope and slope position had a significant effect on the distribution of Korean pine with coarse bark and Korean pine with fine bark, and slope aspect had no significant effect on the distribution of the two.Korean pine with coarse bark is mainly distributed in gentle slope, slope and steep slope, valley and downhill, while Korean pine with fine bark is mainly distributed in slope, sharp slope and steep slope, uphill, downhill and ridge.(3)Topographic factors had no significant effect on the distribution of basal area of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark.(4)Topographic factors had a significant effect on the distribution of different diameter classes of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark. The small diameter classes of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark were distributed in the steep slope terrain, the large diameter classes of Korean pine with coarse bark were mainly distributed in the gentle slope terrain, valley and downhill, while the Korean pine with fine bark was the opposite.[Conclusion]The topographic factors have a significant effect on the distribution of Korean pine with coarse bark and fine bark,Korean pine with coarse bark mainly distributes in the geographical environment with slow slope and low slope position, while Korean pine with fine bark mainly distributes in the geographical environment with steep slope and high slope position.Based on the above results,it is suggested that species selection and breeding should be carried out according to the specific terrain conditions in forestry management,so as to promote the forward succession of the ecosystem of the mixed broad-leaved Korean pine forest and the rapid recovery of the zonal top vegetation community.
