Research on Plant Diversity and Distribution Patterns in Purple Sand Shale Erosion Area of Nanxiong City
[Objective]The purpose of this paper was to further carry out ecological restoration in the erosive area of purple sand shale and to deeply understand its floristic composition.[Method]The species composition, species diversity, distribution pattern of dominant species and interspecific correlation were analyzed in a random quadrat survey of the main vegetation types in Nanxiong City, the main distribution area of purple sand shale erosion area.[Result]A total of 20 samples were investigated, with 29 species belonging to 29 genera and 20 families. The floristic components were mainly tropical, but some temperate components were also found. The average values of Margelef index,Simpson index,Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index were 1.673 8,0.716 6,1.512 7 and 0.869 6,respectively.The population distribution pattern of the dominant species is mainly clustered. The interspecific association coefficient between species showed more negative correlation.[Conclusion]The species in the plot are abundant and the floristic components are relatively complex. The species diversity index of shrubs was higher.Only a few of the dominant species were distributed uniformly, and the association between the dominant species of shrubs was poor, and the species co-existed less. The research results can provide scientific basis for the selection and arrangement of plants in the further ecological restoration.
