Analysis of Formation Mechanism around Tourism Scientific Community--Taking Hong Kong Polytechnic University for Example
School of hotel and tourism management of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University founded in 1979. And its tourism research develops rapidly in recent 20 years, from nameless to No.1 famous tourism scientiifc community. Therefore it is worth pondering the deep reason of its formation and development. The results show that the impetus of tourism market, the cohesion of the academic leader, the interactive force of academic exchange, the endogenous force of tourism scholars, the internationalization of tourism research, the integration of tourism research, the integration of theory and practice and the equalization of livelihood and work are the important factor for the formation of tourism scientiifc community. According to the research, the article also puts forward some constructive suggestions for the formation and development of China's tourism scientiifc community, hoping to provide decision-making reference for the development of China's tourism academic community.
