Decomposition of Economic Growth Factors Driven by the Digital Economy from a Demand-side Perspective
The article studies the impact of the digital economy on the national economy from the per-spective of the demand side, constructs the comparable non-competitive input-output table of the core industries of the digital economy in 2017 and 2020 according to the classification standard of the core in-dustries of the digital economy issued by the National Bureau of Statistics, and measures the demand-pull effect on the output of the core industries of the digital economy by using the"hypothetical extrac-tion"adjusted Leontief model, and analyzes the factors of output growth of each industrial sector by us-ing structural decomposition method. The results show that the core industries of the digital economy have a significant demand-pull effect on the national economy, and through the backward correlation ef-fect they have a certain degree of dring effect on the upstream industries, and the change of their output is the main reason for the output growth of other sectors of the national economy. Therefore, the develop-ment of the digital economy necessitates not only strengthening its integration with traditional industries but also placing special emphasis on the output effect triggered by the"enablement"of the core indus-tries of the digital economy from the demand side, and giving full play to the advantages of its output ef-fect on the demand side.
