Research on the Cultivation of New Type Vocational Farmers in Gansu Province under the Background of Rural Revitalization
The rural revitalization strategy has set higher standards for new type vocational farmers.These farmers are essential to the success of the rural revitalization project,and the new era demands that they possess greater cultural literacy,improved technological expertise,and better management knowledge.However,studies have shown that developing new type vocational farmers in Gansu Province faces several challenges,such as low comprehensive quality among farmers,inadequate reserve forces,outdated training contents,untargeted or monotonous training methods,and insufficient government guidance.To address these challenges,it is recommended that Gansu Province consistently enhances the targeted development of new type vocational farmers,leverages the government's leading role,im-proves the market-driven mechanism,and establishes a long-term guarantee mechanism.This is also an effective way to quickly build a new type vocational farmer workforce with sufficient reserves,strong pro-fessionalism,and excellent quality.
