Research on Government Subsidies,R&D Investment and Corporate Green Innovation
Promoting corporate green innovation is essential for achieving sustainable development strat-egies and driving the green transformation of the economy and society.This study analyzes the financial data of A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2015 to 2020 to examine the relationship between government subsidies,R&D investment,and corporate green innovation using a panel model.The find-ings reveal a significant positive correlation between government subsidies and corporate green innova-tion,with R&D investment playing a mediating role in this relationship.These conclusions hold after ro-bustness tests.Additionally,the study suggests that government subsidies have a more pronounced im-pact on green innovation in state-owned enterprises,large corporations,and growing businesses.The re-search has implications for improving the precision and effectiveness of government subsidies,as well as for enhancing corporate willingness and capability for green innovation.
