Practice and Historical Experience of Anti-corruption Reporting in Xin Zhonghua Bao
Xin Zhonghua Bao is an important carrier of the Communist Party of China(CPC)'s anti-corruption campaign.During the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,the CPC inherited the theory"mouthpiece"from the classical writers of Marxism,and continued the successful practice of anti-corruption of the press in the central Soviet area,based on the actual needs of strengthening the CPC's self-construction and consolidating the political power in the border area,and used Xin Zhonghua Bao to fight against corruption.Faced with the corruption,this newspaper,by"blowing the horn","sounding the alarm"and"pointing the way",fully and thoroughly exposed the phenomenon of corruption and its serious harm,and proposed effective anti-corruption measures,it played the CPC's"mouthpiece"function of political criticism and supervision by public opinion.Its vivid practice of anti-corruption reporting provides a historical mirror for the propaganda work in the new era to adhere to the CPC's control over the media,the people-centered approach,the principle of seeking truth from facts,and the use of various forms of propaganda.
